He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Charles; and his wife Annie. He is survived by: his brother Gridley of Urbanna; his daughter Sophie of Clinchco; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Jakob, Ben and Natalee.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210).
