He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. Turnmire, Sr. and Lucille Ward Turnmire; his brother Dayton Turnmire; his son William Michael Turnmire; and his former wife Gloria Dean Turnmire.
He is survived by: his wife Junie Pauline Turnmire; his daughters, Lora Logan (Keith) and Christy Widener (Frankie); his brothers, Bobby Turnmire (Jewel), Don Turnmire (Millie) and Terry Turnmire (Debbie); his stepchildren, Michelle Smith (Mike), Rick Nunley (Donna) and Tony Nunley (Tina); and his aunt Beulah Hamm. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; thirteen step great grandchildren.
