He was predeceased by: his father Elmer; his wife Patsy Widener; his son Allen Widener; and his siblings, Jake, Ray, Pitch, Stelle, Melvina and Frances.
He is survived by: his children, Frankie Widener (Christy), David Widener and Angie Groseclose; his grandchildren, Justin Widener (Brittany), Katie Bernard (Matt), David Widener (Renee) and Brendon Widener; his great grandchildren, Landon, Cadence, Macey, Charley, Maddison, Carter, Skylar and Salem; his siblings, Harry Widener (Nancy), Howard Widener and Belle Arnold (Dewayne); and his close friends, Pauline Turnmire, Eddie Evans, Hank, Rose Price and Roger Milhorne.
