He was predeceased by: his siblings, Danny McConnell and Suzanne Canter. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Nathanial of Johnson City, Adam (Mary) of Abingdon, Virginia, Marinda Skeesick (Aaron) of Nashville, Pamela Wilson of Kingsport and Linda McConnell of Abingdon, Virginia; his daughter-in-law Mary; and his caregiver Chris. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
