He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Clawson and Ella Litton Clawson; and his sisters, Nellie Warren, Wanda Wise and Daisy Gobble.
He is survived by: his wife Tresia Clawson; his son Michael Clawson; his stepchildren, Tina Kell, Rebecca Shelton (Michael), Amy Evans and Billy Jackson, Jr.; and his sisters, Dorothy Gobble and Linda Wise (Dave). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews.
