She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Yarber and Ethel Yarber. She is survived by: her children, Gary E. Barrett of Meadowview, VA, Sherry Barrett (Robert Mitchell) of Abingdon, VA, Tony Barrett (Miyuki Fields) of Meadowview, VA and Michaell Barrett (Mary Tennis) of Bristol, TN; her grandchildren, Seth Barrett (Emily), Brittany O'Hara (Brenden), Hannah Barrett, Kayla Protzman (George), Devin Barrett, Tiffany Adams, Tasha Adams, Jordan Wyatt, Mary Shupe (Branson), Sarah Barrett, Mica Barrett (Dawson) and Luke Barrett; and her great grandchildren, Adeline, Lilly, Isla, Trey, Brodie, Ronon, Finn, Ellie, Ethan and Remi.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
