She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wilson and Ester Barr Wilson; her former husband Harold Glen Rhoten; her husband Paschal Grindstaff; and her siblings, Warren Wilson, Homer Wilson, Helen Brooks, Hazel Gentry and Katherine Baker.

She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Wright (Lacy) and Joan Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Evon Wilson and Bill Gentry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Grindstaff Scholarship Fund at Emory and Henry College, Blountville United Methodist Church Building Fund or Memorial Garden, or to your favorite charity or church.
