She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Leon W. Castle; her parents, Elinor Lee Sykes Breeding and Arnold Albert Breeding; her siblings, Ruth Musick, Lillian Smith, Ilene Stiff, Clemence Breeding, Jack Breeding, John Breeding, Charlie Breeding, James Breeding, Joe Breeding and Scottie Breeding; and her son Leon Walton Castle Jr. (Lonnie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Castle Smith (Kerry) and Kristie Castle Wallis (Charlie); her daughter-in-law Patti Castle; her grandchildren, Josh Castle, Jonathan Smith (Hannah), Allie Smith Pitt (Austin), Zac Castle, Becca Castle, Chad Castle, Karrington Wallis and Karaline Wallis; and her great grandchildren, Nolan Pitt, Burkleigh Franklin and Arden Parker-Smith. She is also survived by numerous relatives, countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (182 W Main St, Lebanon, VA 24266). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026.
