We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2022, at the age of 96, Nora Lee Bays Hayter (Abingdon, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Lee Hayter. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hopkins (Jerry), Jerry Hayter (Lisa) and Melba Bolling (J. C.). She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
While living in the assisted living homes, she started a Sunday hymn-sing where she played keyboards until the pandemic.
