He is survived by: his siblings, Murriel Stiltner (Harold), Kathleen Walker (Scott), Lawrence Childress (Ida), Clarence Childress (Doris), Lonzo Childress (Rachel), Donald Childress (Kathy) and Joshua Savage (Cathy); and his children, Patricia Ratliff (Jack), Brenda Miller (Baker), Barbara Ratliff (Don), Doris Boyd, Connie Triplett, William Childress (Tina) and Gary Childress (Carmella). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, church family, and friends.
