He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnie Witherspoon Childers and Ralph Childers; and his brother Wayne Childers. He is survived by: his brother Bill Childers; his sister-in-law Neva Pickle Childers; his niece Patty Childers Mitchell (Robert); his nephew David Lee Childers (Cassie Pochyla); and his great-niece Phoebe Claire Mitchell.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:45 PM and at 1:00 PM.
