She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae and Richard Price; and her husband Wayne Hayter. She is survived by: her children, Amy Dye (Tim) and Hank Hayter (Julia); and her grandsons, Grant Dye (Brennan), Michael and Henry Hayter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abingdon Baptist Church (361 W Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
