With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Hanson Dickenson Donaldson (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Dickenson and Rosa Dickenson; and her husband James Nelson Donaldson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Donaldson Brillhart (Richard); her grandchildren, Christopher Hatcher, Caitlin Hatcher Powers, Brian Brillhart and Wesley Brillhart; and her great grandchildren, Witten Powers and Knox Powers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Abingdon United Methodist Church, State Street United Methodist Church, or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
