She was predeceased by: her parents, Fitzhugh Lee Lawrence and Dixie Minnie Hodges Lawrence; her siblings, Gloria L. Tate, Edna McMillen, Burma L. South, Ryan Lawrence, Emory Lawrence, Lane Lawrence, Mark "Buddy" Lawrence and Lyle Lawrence; and her son Jimmy Hughes.

She is survived by: her husband James C. C. Hughes; her daughters, Mary Oley (Mike) and Beth Endean (Bill); her grandchildren, Lauren O. Knott (Kevin), Stephanie H. Wyvill (Colin), Billy Endean (Tabitha), Megan Oley, Bo Endean and Taylor Oley; Cathy Jensen. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
