It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Tiller of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Hess and Beulah Mae Owens Hess; and her siblings, Fayrene Anderson, Ollie Smith, Rosa Lee Tolliver, Billy Gene Hess and Richard Allen Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Everette Tiller of Council, Annette Elaine Stapleton of Pennington Gap, Phyllis Dana Lester (Michael) of Council and Joshua Shawn Tiller (Ashley) of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Kayla Paige Stapleton, Alexandria Drew Tilley (Preston), Spencer Faith Lester and Christopher Everette Tiller (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Ivan Bentley Stapleton, Corbin Shawn Tiller, Anson Jhile Tiller, Ivona Brielle Stapleton and Dominic Alexander Ryder Tilley; and her siblings, Bonnie Hart of Honaker, Gary Wayne Hess of Honaker and Kenneth Alvin Hess of Richlands. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
