He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Francis Smiley and Elizabeth Hughes Smiley. He is survived by: his wife Sharyn Jo Malone; his children, David Alan Malone (Inis) of Germany, John Malone of Tullahoma, TN and Christine Kazlauskas (Matthew) of Knoxboro, NY; his grandchildren, David Malone, Jr., Jana Malone, Alexandria Woods, Otis Malone, Tayla Malone, Joshua Kazlauskas, Daniel Kazlauskas and Lillian Kazlauskas; his great grandchild Emmy Grace Malone; and his siblings, John Smiley (Chris), Sue Humphreys, Paula Green (Dan) and Rita Smiley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
