Foil, Jr. (MaryBeth) and Mary Foil Russell (Ken); his grandchildren, John Morgan Russell, Elizabeth Foil Russell, Sarah Elizabeth Foil, Richard Erby Foil, III and David Edward Foil; and his brother John Ard Foil of Louisville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by four greatgrandchildren.
