It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Douglas Hensley (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Campbell Hensley and Alice Elizabeth Adams Hensley; his wife Delores Jean Snedegar Hensley; his siblings, Vernoy, Kenny, Dallas Hensley, Fayetta Williams, Goldie Roark, Lucille Jones, Linda Hensley and Kathy Hensley; and his grandson Chad Belcher.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Hensley, Jr. (Rebecca) of Quinten and Chantelle Hensley (Allen Jessee) of Abingdon, Virginia; his grandchildren, Shaun Hensley, Jacob Hicks, Cody Belcher Karissa Hensley and Sara; his siblings, Randy Hensley (Debbie) and Beverly Bailey (Barry); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Snedegar and Darlene Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
