He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald T. Clappse and Margaret Faye Clappse; his brother Raymond Clappse; his mother-in-law Frances Wright; and his close friend Richard Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Linda W. Clappse; his brother Donald Clappse (Sandra); his nephew Josh Clappse; his nieces, Brooke Clappse, Julie Blevins, Dr. Pam Shipley and Dr. Ashley Murray; his father-in-law Noah Wright; his siblings-in-law, Albert Wright (Sherry) and Vicky Blaylock (Ted); and his children, Benji, Cullen Barker, Abby, Will, Ben, Mairiam, Hanna and Paul. He is also survived by two great nephews and one great niece.
