He is survived by: his wife Karolina Gleissl Elswick of Abingdon, VA; his children, Willy Elswick (Teresa) of Prattville, AL, Tina Clevinger (James) of Grundy and Diana Atkins (Ricky) of Vega, TX; his stepmother Mary Elswick of Grundy, VA; his siblings, Danny Elswick (Darlene) of Big Rock, VA, Jean Taylor of Pikeville, KY, Avon Keen (Vernie) of Spotsylvania, VA and Glenda Hughes (Darrell) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Michael Elswick (Jordyn) of Deatsville, AL, Laura Lawrence (Robby) of Billingsley, AL, Christina Deel (Brian) of Grundy, VA, Chastity Clevinger of Grundy, VA, Christopher Atkins of Vega, TX and Patricia Atkins of Argyle, TX; his great grandchildren, Hadley Elswick, Hollis Elswick, Beth Ann Lawrence, Harper Lawrence, Joshua Ratliff and Jeremiah Ratliff; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Elswick of Big Rock, VA, Janne Elswick of Gainesville, FL and Fanni Gleissl of Germany; and his stepsisters, Ernestine Looney of Grundy, VA and Dorothy Orpello of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
