It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Gobble of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Gobble and Ruth Gobble; his wife Ann Gobble; and his brother George W. Gobble. He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Diane Kingsley-Varble (Dave) of Bristol, VA; and his siblings, Junior Gobble (Sandra), Roger Gobble, Wayne Gobble, Kenneth Gobble, Geraldine Holloway (Buddy) and Rebecca Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
