It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Harkrader Brown of Abingdon, Virginia, born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Everett and Maude Elizabeth Harkrader of Bristol, TN.; her husband Fred Brown; and her brother Stuart Keith Harkrader. She is survived by: her daughter Ruthie Edwards; her grandchildren, Neely Edwards, David Whaley, Tammy Deneb and Marc Fogleman; and her stepgrandchildren, Kimberlie Johnson-Hutton and Christopher Johnson-Hutton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
