He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tom, Connie Counts and Carson Halsey; and his uncle Thomas A. Counts II. He is survived by: his parents, Chris Halsey and Teresa Halsey; his brother Reid; his sister-in-law Brooke Halsey; his sibling's children, Bridger and Peyton Halsey; his grandmother Linda Halsey; his girlfriend Kelsey Riner; and his aunts and uncles, Tina Counts, Mike (Daphne Marcinek), Greg Halsey, Dale (Pam Truxell) and Mitch (Laurie Halsey). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green Spring Presbyterian Church (22007 Green Springs Church Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
