He is survived by: his mother Barbara Thayer of Abingdon; his wife Samantha; and his siblings, Kim Snyder (Tim), Tonia Donovan (Bill), Lisa May and Russ Thayer (Oriane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Middle Fork Barn (30099 Rivermont Dr, Meadowview, VA 24361).
