She was predeceased by: her father John Henry; her husband Ernest Fletcher Kestner; her sons, Lyle Preston Kestner and Lawrence Edward Kestner; her siblings, Ella Mae Hudson, Irene Bailey, Inscore of Kansas, Kathleen Dancy, Maudie Taylor, Ralph Taylor, Dasoda "Happy" Taylor and Charles Taylor; and her granddaughter Shawna Ashby.

She is survived by: her sons, Donald Kestner (Reva) of Glade Spring, David Randy Kestner (Teresa) of Glade Spring, Larry Kestner (Pina) of Glade Spring and Wayne Kestner of Bristol, VA; her grandchildren, Casey Yonts (Michael), Justin Kestner (Emily), Randolph Kestner, Tonia Kestner, Tammy Jo McCoy (Eric), Don Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Jeffrey Kestner (Carita), Chris Kestner (Melissa), Tracy Hicks (David), Renee Kestner Woodward, Lyle Kestner, Jr. (Brittany), Jamey Kestner, Drew Kestner (Marti) and Brooke Kestner; and her daughter-in-law Jill Kestner. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
