He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivory Salyer and Ramona Salyer; his siblings, Edith, Joan, Darius, Donald, Dolan, Leon, Gene and Jimmy; and his great grandchild Phoenix Roark.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Salyer; his daughters, Gloria (Mario), Barbara, Samantha (Thomas), Lisa (Matthew), Melissa and Katara; his sister Mary Jessee; and his close friend Jerry Little. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
