He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Pippin and Oscar Pippin; his wife Frances Morrell; his son-in-law Timothy Plogger; his siblings, Kenneth Pippin, Glen Pippin (Rhoda), Audie Hensley (Landon) and Helen Denton (Hearse); and his siblings-in-law, Glen Morrell (Thelma), Bobby Morrell, Howard Morrell (Carita), Hascal Morrell (Ann), Henry Harper, Earl Doyle, Edna Cox (Carl), Leola Howley (Tom), Reva Shaver, Naomi Hartley and June Hartley (Dalton).
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Pippin Plogger of Forest, Virginia; his granddaughters, Lexi Plogger of Lynchburg and Lindsey Merryman (Jonathan) of Davidson; his great grandchildren, Presley, Charlee and Lily Frances Merryman of Davidson; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Pippin, Yalile Morrell, Iva Dean Harper, Wilma Morrell, Anna Mae Doyle, Duane Hartley and Tony Morrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
