It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Lois Maiden of Abingdon, Virginia, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Ellison, Sr. and Ella Hockett Ellison; her husband Donald Wayne Maiden of Abingdon, VA; and her siblings, Moses Ellison, Jr., Dorothy Ellison, Addie Loyd and Ella Mae Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Henry C. "Jay" Lloyd, Jr. (Laurie Davenport Lloyd) of Panama City, FL and Tammy Lloyd Lambert (Harold Scott Lambert, Jr) of Bristol, VA; her stepdaughter Sandra Maiden Pascasio (Christian Pascasio) of Glen Allen, VA; and her grandchildren, Philip Dean Casey (Rachel Ashcraft) of Summerville, SC and Sara Mariah Smith of Johnson City, TN..
