We announce the death of Shelby Diana Belcher (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Yates and Kathleen Yates; her brother David Scott Yates; her sister-in-law Judy Renee Yates; her nephew Nathan Sample; and her great-niece Isabella Ramey.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Belcher; her daughters, Brandi Jessee (Matthew) and Erin Cann (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Kathryn Jessee, Layne Jessee, William Jessee and Levi Cann; her brother Jerry Yates (Connie); and her sister-in-law Juanita Sample (Barry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
