He is survived by: his girlfriend Ruby Taylor; his son Steve Cody Ammons; his brother James Lamar Ammons; his stepdaughters, Nakesha Danielle and Samantha Jo; his sister Stephanie Nichols; his grandson Chase Brogdon; his niece Whitney Wilkerson; and his nephews, Will Wilkerson and Brandon Ammons. He is also survived by his family and animals.
