She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhuben Eggers and Virgie Eggers; her daughter-in-law Joy Parris; and her siblings, Lucille Mays, Ruth Walsh, Gladys Head, Peggy Christian, Walter Eggers, Rhuben K. Eggers, Jr. and Luther Eggers.
She is survived by: her son Calvin Parris; her grandson Destin Parris; and her brothers, Eddie Eggers and William "Billy" Eggers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
