It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Halvard George (Abingdon, Virginia), born in Richmond Heights, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Charles George, Sr. and Walnah May Peterson; and his brother Eugene George, Jr. (Skip). He is survived by: his daughter Stephene Ball (Troy) of Jonesborough, TN; his sister Carroll Parsons (Allen) of Plainfield, IN; his stepdaughter Tiffany Smith of Bristol, TN; his grandsons, Matthew, Trevor, Joseph, Jacob (Sunshine) and James (Smiley); and his great grandchildren, David, Braydon and Matox. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 5 nephews.
