With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren William McCray (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison McCray and Naomi Crusenberry McCray; his son Jeffrey Warren McCray; his brothers, Harry McCray (June) and Bobby McCray; and his siblings-in-law, R. D. Anderson (Faye), Norris Anderson (Judy), Ray Duncan, Mildred Anderson Lee and Zella McCray.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Anderson McCray; his daughter Amelia Sue McCray; his daughter-in-law Carol Keesee McCray; his granddaughters, Jessica Buchanan (Eric Buchanan), Jennifer Puckett (Andy Puckett) and Molly Jean McCray; his great grandchildren, Whitten Puckett, Camden Puckett and Tanner Buchanan; his sister-in-law Carol; his sisters, Dana Duncan-Moore (Gerald) and Dot Long; his siblings-in-law, W. V. Anderson (Betty), Katherine Godsey (Jimmy) and Cindy McCray; Paul McCray and Donald McCray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
