She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Walker and Odessa Virginia Walker; her son Ralph H. Walker; her grandchildren, Leonard L. Walker and Courtell Walker; her great grandchildren, Lenijah Walker and De'Markale Walker; her siblings, David Walker, Ernest Walker, Janice Custis and Shirley Knox; and her nieces and nephews, Shirley E. Walker, Virgie A. Walker, Spencer Walker and Ontavious Mapp.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Moneca Walker; her daughters, Brenda Walker, Bertie Edwards (Frank) and Janice Cartwright (Kevin); her goddaughter Teresa Wilkins; her grandsons, Ryetonio Walker, Thomas Walker (Stacey), Devarge Walker and Demarcus Walker; her caregivers, Moneca Walker and Tamiara Johnson; and her siblings, Bishop Hazel Kellam (KC), Linda Mason (George), Yvonne James and Henry Walker (Naomi). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jerleane's Funeral Service (24497 Mary N Smith Rd, Accomac, VA 23301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Harvest Time Deliverance Church (36228 Seaside Rd, Painter, VA 23420).
