She was predeceased by: her father Frank Veney; and her siblings, Kathy V. Snead, Nancy V. Harris and Frankie Veney. She is survived by: her mother Catherine Stewart Veney (Roxy); her husband Jesse "Richard" Strand; her daughter Raquel Strand; her siblings, Donald Veney, Freddie Veney, Eric Veney and Ernestine Veney; her sister-in-law Katherine Abney (Alvin); her cousin Paulette Victory; and her close friend Marguerite Veney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
