She is survived by: her children, Leenell H. Custis (Barbara White) of Lakeland, FL and Maxine Custis-Hill (Joseph) of Norfolk, VA; and her grandchildren, Equan Custis (Danyelle) of Norfolk, VA, Shacarius Shrieves (Alesha) of Salisbury, MD, Eric Baker of Norfolk, VA, Nicole Baker Walker of Atlanta, GA, Shana Custis Parker (Edward) of Phoenix, AZ and Bonita Tyler Brown (Julian) of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
