He is survived by: his close friend Veronica Morton; his grandchild Ra'Nya Howard; his children, Nicole Jackson, Kelly Evans and Keshaun Hinmon; his grandchildren, Yezmin Rogers, Taylor Coe, Kendrake Evans and Jade Evans; his great grandchild Bryson Hinmon; his siblings, Craig Evans (Annette), Kiplin Evans, Daniel Douglas (Jackie), Linda Ann Evans, Connie Wicklund and Cordelia Davis; his stepmother Joyce Laws Watson; his stepsiblings, Sarah Marshall (Alfred), Linell Logan (David), Nicole Crosby, James Crosby and Carl Laws; his children, Anita Seidu, Demetrice West (Kira) and Elijah West (Tekisha); and his cousins, Ricky Wharton and Ronnie Holden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He departed this life on Friday, August 25, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones after his battle with Parkinson's disease.
