He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina Michelle Carr; his parents, Elizabeth Alexander Carr-Kenney and Thomas Carr; his stepfather John Kenney; and his siblings, Hattie Carr Conner, Elizabeth Carr Daniels, Pauline Carr Da and Clarence Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Price Carr; and his siblings-in-law, Margurite Banks, Mildred James and Curtis Price (family: Wilbert A, Darcus, Jr., Frank E. Darcus, Archie L. Darcus, John C. Darcus, Patricia Giles, Nelston Johnson, Tamara Scott). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Metompkin Baptist Church (20371 Lankford Hwy, Parksley, VA 23421). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
