He is survived by: his wife Denise Custis of Parksley, VA; his children, Chey'Anna Wise of Melfa, VA and Cartez Lilliston (Jamie) of Withams; his grandchild Nekeke Thomas (Sherman) of Parksley, VA; his sisters, Mercedes Matthews of Accomac, VA and Paula Pettit of Parksley, VA; his aunt Catherine Mason of Chicago, IL; his mother-in-law Margaret Murray of Parksley, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Douglas-Harmon of Pocomoke, MD, Sharone Brown of Melfa, VA and Michael Custis (Valerie) of Felton, DE. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Macedonia A. M. E. Church (23536 Church Rd, Accomac, VA 23301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
