He is survived by: his children, Loretta Covington and Emanuel Davis; his grandchildren, Alvin Tankard, Nicole Covington and Tamara Covington; his great grandchildren, Marquis Covington, George Covington (Yana), Trinity Covington, William Covington and Elizabeth Covington; and his siblings, Mary Della Fisher, Lucinda Parker, Roy James and Willie James. He is also survived by three great, great-grandchildren.
