He is survived by: his spouse Lavenia Fletcher; his children, Claudie Cropper (Tony) of Chesapeake, VA, Dolly Morris (Marvin) of Delmar, DE, Sherri Shelton (Steven) of Greenville, KY, Sharon Anderson (Timothy) of Newark, DE, McKeever Byrd, Sr. (Tracy) of Newport News, VA and Mitchell Byrd, Sr. (Mildred) of Toano, VA; his grandchildren, Tasario (Shawn), Mitchell, Jr., Chrystal, McKeever, Jr., Monika, Tevin, Marvin, Marcell, Cody, Mario, Shelby and Travis; his siblings, Almeta Smith of New Church, VA, Grace Poole (Otis) of New Church, VA, Donald Fletcher, Jr. of Crisfield, MD and Norman Fletcher (Brenda) of New Church, VA; his father-in-law Irving Austin of Horntown, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Kennis Austin of Horntown, VA, Mary C. Austin of Fond, Gladys Austin of Willingsboro, NJ and Annette Austin of Pocomoke, MD. He is also survived by his sisters, brothers, children, and especially his grandchildren.
