She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Bailey and Edward Ames; and her husband Theodore R. Peele. She is survived by: her nephew Robert "Bob" Davis; and her sisters, Mable Holbrook of Suffolk, VA and Katherine "Irene" Scott of Warrenton, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jerleane's Funeral Service (24497 Mary N Smith Rd, Accomac, VA 23301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Snead's Memorial Methodist Church (33016 Seaside Rd, Keller, VA 23401). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Burton Cemetery (21440 Burtons Church Rd, Melfa, VA 23410).
