She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Sr. Downing and Lottie Downing; her siblings, Norman "June" Downing Jr., McKinley "Kenny" Downing and Gloria Taylor-Wood; and her grandchildren, Shenia Ridley, DeAndre "Ionnie" Ridley and Welford "Larry" Haines Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Tyler of Greenbush, VA, Isiah "Ike" Ridley III of New Church, VA, Mary "Lucy" Ridley-Tucker, Michael "Mike" Ridley of Parksley, VA and Tammy Conquest (Ermon) of New Church, VA; her grandchildren, Denise Neal, Samantha Ridley, Keith, Kevin Neal and DeAnna Ridley; her sisters, Margie Young of Onancock, VA and Lillis Brittingham (John) of Berlin, MD; and her siblings-in-law, William Ridley Sr. (Minnie), Helen Edwards, Ethel Dickerson and Gail Downing. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
