She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Milbourne and James Collins; her children, Ada Harris and Broadus Mason Sr.; and her siblings, Mitchell Crosell and Melvina Woods.
She is survived by: her husband Dalton Christopher; her sister Minnie Ridley (William); her children, Elnora Mason, Shirley Jackson (Gary) and Walter Mason (Helen); her grandchildren, Alexis, Nichole, Shirkea, Marvin, Katilya, Waltasia, Hakeem, Keshell, Chris, Broadus Jr., Marcus, Travis and Curtis; her in-laws, Wardell, Lenny, Philippa, Sarah Corbin and Phyllis Garvin; and her close friends, Lenora Johnson and Oatie. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
