She is survived by: her children, Tina Townsend of Hallwood, VA, Richlen Townsend of Atlantic, VA, Kenneth Townsend of Atlantic, VA, Ray Ellis Townsend of Virginia Beach, VA and Charles Edward Townsend of Atlantic, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Marshall and Anne Mae Jenkins. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren.
