We are sad to announce that on February 29, 2024, at the age of 90, Joan Henderson Shaw of Accomac, Virginia, born in Nassawadox, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Upshur Kerr Henderson, Jr. and Daris Greer Henderson; her husband Brooks L. Shaw; and her brother Upshur Kerr Henderson III (Bonnie). She is survived by : her son Brooks Douglas "Doug" Shaw (Cathy) of Annapolis, MD; her granddaughters, Claire, Katherine and Nathalie Shaw; her nieces and nephews, Cindy Joynes (Arthur), Lisa Scott (Scotty) and Terry Payne (Melissa); and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Shaw (Jeanne) and Carol Roop.
