He is survived by: his son Leon Burton; his siblings, Mack Mayo (Cynthia), Mattie Ruth Clemmons and Johanna Smith; his sister-in-law Juanita Andrews; his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Michael, Marlo, Keith, Kareem (Melissa), James, Bonnie, Brenda, Sharon, Denise and Walihamine; his goddaughter Jackie Douglas (Daniel); and his caregiver Min.
