With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lenwood Byrd Jr. (Accomac, Virginia), who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lynwood Byrd, Sr.; his brother William Byrd; his sons, Perry, Barry and Lawrence Byrd, Sr.; and his close friend Montrue Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marshell Handy of Parksley, VA, Maria Price (Dion) of Clinton, MD, Lynette Byrd of Oxon Hill, MD and Anitra Byrd of Princess Anne, MD; his daughter-in-law Denise Byrd of Parksley, VA; and his grandchildren, LaRhonda Byrd, Antron Byrd (Shareece), Lawrence Byrd, Jr., Ashley Walker (Kentrelle), Chatara Watson, Xavier Price, Monica Deshields, Marquise Mason and Tormesha Battle. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.
