We announce the death of Leslie Michael George of Accomac, Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Warren George and Mary Frances Barbour George; his grandparents, Lee Carson George, Sr., Vera Smith George, Samuel Moses Barbour and Janie Dalton Barbour; and his siblings, Reba Murphy and Jerry Lee George.

He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia "Ginger" Gentry of Sutherlin, Faye Cowan (Mason) of Chatham and Paul George of Temperanceville, Virginia; his nieces, Kimberley Murphy Hedge (Tom) and Lisa Cowan; and his nephew Mason George.
