She was predeceased by: her father Richard Floyd; her grandparents, Louise and Willie Copes, Sr.; her aunts and uncles, Paige, Melvin, Willie, Jr., Grace Copes Taylor, Virginia Savage, Jacqueline Bailey, Colita Copes Haggins and Ervin Savage; and her cousin Martha F. Wilson.
She is survived by: her mother Marie Floyd; her close friend Michael Bowen; her son Shawn Floyd, Sr. (Ashley); her grandchildren, Shanyette Dickerson, Shawnasia Floyd and Shawn Floyd, Jr.; her great grandchild Hendrix; and her aunt Doretha Wharton (Cornell).
